Consistency is Key as Bison Women Begin Playoffs

February 25, 2010 7:16 AM | Sports

After Alberta put the boots to the Manitoba Bison women’s hockey team last weekend with two wins in a row, the Bisons hope to make it a better start when they head into playoffs at home.

Head coach Jon Rempel admits the team hasn’t been playing its best lately, but says consistency is key and each game is a learning experience for the team, especially during playoffs.

Watch:

The #6 ranked Bisons will host the #8 ranked Saskatchewan Huskies in a semi-final best-of-three series tonight at 7 p.m. and Friday afternoon and Saturday (if necessary) at the Max Bell Arena.

The ladies take to the ice at 7 p.m. tonight and 3 p.m. tomorrow. Saturday’s 3 p.m. game will be played, as mentioned, only if necessary.
