Canadian Jasey-Jay Anderson of Val-Morin, Quebec cliched first place in the men’s parallel giant slalom snowboarding event at Cypress Mountain Saturday.
Anderson took home gold, while Benjamin Karl of Austria and Mathieu Bozzetto of France won silver and bronze.
Canada now has the lead in gold medals with 12, which sets a new Winter Games record for our country.
