A slight traffic note if you use the Disraeli Freeway as part of your daily commute — starting today, crews will begin installing limestone rock into the north bank of the Red River for the upcoming construction project.

Streets will not be closed as a result of the work, but motorists should be aware traffic may be required to slow down or stop as construction vehicles access the site from Midwinter Avenue west of the bridge.

Riverbank stabilization is expected to last until the end of March.
