An African-inspired musical and dance performance from Montreal is coming to Winnipeg for three performances this weekend.
Productions Kalabanté is bringing their show Kô Ryass to the West End Cultural Centre. They describe it as a performance “meant to inspire awe, curiosity and inner strength.” The show will also bring aerial silks, traditional drumming, breakdancing, acrobatics and juggling.
Kô Ryass will premiere in Winnipeg after a successful run in Dubai and several other Canadian cities.
The show runs on Saturday, March 20 at 3:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 21 at 3:30 p.m.
Tickets are $20 at the door, or $15 at Ragpickers, 216 McDermot Avenue.
