The former vice-president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and a member of VANOC’s Board of Directors is set to address members of Winnipeg’s business community today at a luncheon.
Dick Pound has been a member of the IOC since 1978 and has been involved in virtually every aspect of the Olympic Games since then.
Pound will deliver the keynote address at the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon at 12:40 p.m. at the Fairmont Winnipeg.
The speech is expected to highlight the inner workings of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.
