A one-day event for youth is hoping to educate and inspire, while empowering them to create a difference in their lives, communities and the world at large.
A Day of Inspiration will target grade 8-12 students in a day-long seminar featuring Dr. Samantha Nutt, Founder of War Child Canada and Kimmie Weeks, Founder of Youth Action International. Both will speak on Wednesday, May 5 at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre at 1808 Wellington Avenue.
Students will also benefit from learning how to increase their confidence, move beyond obstacles and increase their energy and enthusiasm.
The event will be streamed live via webcast to other Canadian schools, which organizers say will be North America’s largest assembly.
