A six-year-old boy in China underwent surgery Wednesday to remove his extra fingers and toes.
The unnamed boy from the country’s Liaoning province had 16 toes and 15 fingers. Three of the fingers on each hand were fused together with skin.
The condition is known as polydactyly, and is similar to what two Indian Boys with 12 fingers and 13 toes were born with.
Before the surgery, the boy likely had the advantage in math class.
