Highway 204 between Selkirk and Highway 212 has been closed due to overland flooding. The province put up barriers on Wednesday.
The ice on the Red River nearby appears to be flowing freely in some areas, but in others, ice jams are prevalent along the shoreline.
Our photog took a drive north of the city to have a look at the situation first-hand.
