After remaining virtually silent on any roster signings during March, the Winnipeg Goldeyes kicked off April with the announcement of Mark Holliman. And this is no joke.
The right-handed starter from Memphis, TN comes to the Goldeyes from the Brewers, after previously spending three years as Cubs property.
The 26-year-old, in 110 career appearances, is 29-37 with a 4.26 earned run average, averaging more than 137 innings a season.
There are now 19 players on the Winnipeg roster for 2010.
Training camp opens May 4 at Canwest Park.
