Child Find Manitoba is proudly hosting their 25th Anniversary Gala on Friday, April 23, and will highlight the tragic story of Winnipeg teen Candace Derksen. It was because of Derksen’s disappearance and subsequent murder that the organization was formed to fill a void in the services provided to families of missing children.
For 25 years, the organization has helped to locate and reunite children in the community with their loved ones through fundraising initiatives and partnerships with law enforcement agencies across the province.
The generous support of donors and the public has helped Child Find Manitoba to succeed these many years.
The Gala will take place at the Fort Garry Hotel beginning at 6 p.m.
