If you happen to have today off from work, you still have to wake up early regardless. Starting at 7:30 a.m., you can make your camping reservations for the 2010 season at all Manitoba parks.
The province is making it easier for people to enjoy our parks, by waiving the entry fee for the second year in a row. Although, camping rates have increased since 2009.
Government offices are closed today, but reservations are still being accepted by calling 948-3333 or 1-888-482-2267. The preferred method to make a campsite reservation is still online at ManitobaParks.com.
Last year, 62,044 reservations were booked, with about 66% of those being made online.
