The Winnipeg Goldeyes continue to build on their stellar roster this season with the announcement of two more signings — infielder Jeremy Hamilton and pitcher Philip Roy.
Hamilton, 23, is a native of Cincinnati, OH and comes to Winnipeg following two seasons with the Phillies. He is a career .248 hitter with six home runs and 48 runs batted in.
Roy, 22, is Miami-born and comes with three years of experience with the Seattle Mariners. Used exclusively in relief, he is 11-2 in 55 career appearances with five saves and a 4.37 ERA.
The Fish now have 23 players on the Winnipeg roster. Training camp opens May 4 at Canwest Park.
