The Winnipeg Police Service is still looking to fill positions for its newly-created Auxiliary Force Cadet program.

Cadets handle less urgent calls, such as directing traffic if lights are out, or taking reports of a break-in.

The next class starts in September 2010. Applications are being accepted until 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 7 at the WPS recruiting office (280 William Avenue), or online at Winnipeg.ca/police.

Further information is available by calling 986-6204.
