A 26-year-old man has died after an early morning rollover on Highway 10 on Friday near Renwer, Manitoba.

RCMP responded to the single vehicle crash just before 5 a.m. about 32 km east of Swan River. Police found a pickup truck in the north ditch of Highway 10 with the man ejected from the vehicle.

The man from Briggs Spur was later pronounced dead at the Swan Valley Health Center. His 32-year-old common law wife was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

RCMP say it’s believed the driver was heading eastbound and caught the edge of the road, lost control and rolled the vehicle. Police don’t believe the man was wearing a seat belt.

The investigation is continuing.

UPDATE: The 32-year-old female has been charged with a number of offenses, including impaired driving causing death. She will appear in Swan River court on June 16.
