Football greats from the 1960’s Winnipeg Blue Bombers will be honoured at a banquet tonight.
The fifth annual Manitoba Business Adventurers’ Banquet will shine the spotlight on Manitoba enterprises from past generations and this year. Hosted by the Asper School of Business, the banquet will honour a golden period for a team that has been a community institution for 80 years.
Recipients will be honoured as a ball club and a professional enterprise, receiving the Manitoba Businesses Adventurers’ Award.
The Grey Cup will even be flown in from Hamilton just for the event.
The banquet will feature a Sinatra-style dinner at the Fort Garry Hotel’s newly renovated Grand Ballroom. The reception begins at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m.
