The scientific director general of the National Microbiology Laboratory and chief science advisor of the Public Health Agency of Canada is in Winnipeg today.
Dr. Frank Plummer is world renowned for his work in internal medicine and infectious diseases and has dealt first hand with high profile diseases such as AIDS and the Ebola fever.
Plummer will deliver the keynote address at this afternoon’s Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon and discuss the research taking place right here in Winnipeg.
The lunch begins at noon at the Delta Winnipeg.
