The Manitoba Theatre Centre may be known for entertaining audiences on stage, but they also create an environment for up and coming actors, designers, technicians and artists to perfect their craft.
MTC is helping individuals through scholarships and apprenticeship funds offered at the centre. The Pass the Prop campaign in support of the Jean Murray — Moray Sinclair Theatre Scholarship and Apprenticeships will take place during intermission of “Steel Magnolias,” which begins tonight and runs until May 15 at the John Hirsch Theatre at MTC Mainstage
Artists interested in applying for these opportunities can download an application form from MTC’s website. The deadline for applications is May 3 with auditions and interviews taking place on May 8 and May 10.
