Local media personalities and Bison football athletes stuffed their faces Wednesday in the 6th Bison Sports Media Wing Off at Smitty’s Restaurant and Lounge on Pembina Highway.

Derek Taylor of the “Fox Soccer Report” was the champion last year with 31 wings, but had his work cut out for him against Michael Elves of 101.5 UMFM. In the end, both men managed to set a tie after five minutes to force sudden death. An additional two minutes was added to the clock after a short delay and the competition was back on. Elves came away with packing 58 wings in total. Wow!
