Four children were thrown from an ATV in the RM of La Broquerie on Wednesday.

RCMP were called to the scene at about 6 p.m. on Twin Rivers Road, where they say a 13-year-old male was driving the ATV on a gravel road with two male passengers aged 1 and 2, along with a 10-year-old female. No one was wearing helmets.

The three male youths were transported to the Health Sciences Centre. Two of the boys are in stable condition, while the other remains in intensive care.

The female was treated and released from Ste. Anne’s Hospital.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

RCMP are reminding the public that they must wear helmets and not operate off road vehicles on public roadways.
