The Manitoba Bisons signed six more players to their football roster Wednesday for the upcoming Spring Camp. Josh Ahmo (Vincent Massey), Matt Arnold (Winnipeg Rifles), Bryden Bone (Oak Park), Tyler Fabbri (Winnipeg Rifles), Christian Hansen (St. Paul’s) and Dan Turek (Okanagan) all committed to suit up.

The 2010 Spring Camp begins today at the U of M’s Fort Garry campus and will run until Sunday with 159 hopefuls. Head coach Brian Dobie also touched on the year 2012, which he says will be an exciting time for the local football community with the new stadium coming up on university grounds. On Wednesday, City Council held a meeting where they approved developer David Asper‘s plans for the new facility.

Player meetings will take up much of the first day of the four-day camp, followed by practice on Friday and Saturday, and a scrimmage on Sunday afternoon.
