Saturday, May 1 is Free Comic Book Day throughout North America. That means participating retailers will be giving out one free comic to anybody who walks into their store.
Cover to Cover at 1187 Pembina Highway is one of those participating retailers and will be giving out books of every genre between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. No purchase necessary.
The idea is to encourage people to read a comic and get lost in the fictional stories they provide. Material suitable for all ages will be offered.
