Oak Hammock Marsh will hold a Backyard Composting Workshop on Sunday to effectively show the do’s and don’ts of composting. Expert Tabitha Martens will lead the workshop, which runs from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Pre-registration is required to attend. $5 for members and $5 plus admission for non-members.
The sale is sponsored by the East Interlake Conservation District.
The Interpretive Centre will also host a one-day compost bin sale on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the front parking lot. The bins will be sold at a reduced price of $30.
