A job fair designed to help find immigrants work is taking place today at The Fairmont Winnipeg.
The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and the Province of Manitoba are hosting the fair, in hopes job-ready immigrants will find potential employment in both the public and private sector of the province.
The Chamber’s 4th Annual “Connecting with the Immigrant Workforce” event is a way to share information on recruiting and retaining immigrants, and at the same time showing what the local business community has to offer.
The job fair runs from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
