Concert and Conference for Quality Arts Education

A concert in support of quality arts education for all Manitoba students will fill the Centennial Concert Hall tonight with a number of headlining acts.

“The Creative Stage” will include singer-songwriter Sierra Noble, Juno nominee and Aboriginal People’s Choice Music Awards winner Tracy Bone, J.P. Hoe, and dancers Lise McMillan and Sarah Roche.

Students from the Aboriginal School of Dance, St. Mary’s Academy, Manitoba Theatre for Young People & Maples Collegiate Dance will also perform, while Ace Burpee and Fred Penner host the evening.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., with the conference following on Wednesday beginning at 8:30 a.m.
