A million dollar fire has completely destroyed a chicken barn south of Steinbach.
Emergency crews were called to Friendly Family Farms on Hanover Road at about 6:20 a.m. Wednesday, where they found a large barn fully engulfed in flames.
The structure is used to house chickens, but was vacant at the time.
RCMP say the blaze does not appear to be suspicious, but the Office of the Fire Commissioner continues to investigate.
