About 50 Shilo-based soldiers are returning home tonight after a recent tour in Afghanistan.
The latest group is expected to arrive at CFB Shilo just east of Brandon at 9:30 p.m.
Nearly all soldiers from Shilo recently deployed overseas are now home with just a handful to return in coming days. The latest round of soldiers returned home on May 17.
Approximately 450 soldiers from Shilo have been deployed since September 2009.
