Manitoba Public Insurance will likely be hearing from vehicle owner Ron Kyle (above) today, as his Pontiac Sunfire sustained a bit of water damage, to say the least.
Kyle was one of many motorists trying to make their way down Springfield Road on Saturday. Water levels submerged many vehicles in deeper parts of the street.
Springfield wasn’t the only street where water was causing a problem. Dozens of city streets were under water, as stranded motorists made the best of the situation by helping out others.
The good news is that Environment Canada isn’t calling for drastic levels of rain again anytime soon.
