The first of June is upon us, and that means the Winnipeg Humane Society’s Paws in Motion fundraiser is quickly approaching.
The animal walk-a-thon at Assiniboine Park on June 27 will raise money for the pet shelter’s spray and neuter programs, and ensure the WHS has the resources they need to care for the hundreds of animals they provide a temporarily home for.
Registration is still open and organizers are encouraging corporations to step up and create a corporate team.
Register online, in person at 45 Hurst Way, at any Winnipeg Safeway location, or by phone at 982-2041.
Even if you don’t participate, you can still make a pledge to help support the Humane Society.
