CJOB, Hot 103 Top of 2010 Spring Ratings Card

The spring 2010 BBM numbers were released Tuesday, which measured radio data between March 1 and April 25, 2010.

Below is a list of the 12-and-up ratings for the Winnipeg market.

  1. CJOB — 15.3
  2. Hot 103 — 11.4
  3. CBC Radio One — 11.2
  4. QX104 — 8.0
  5. 92 CITI FM — 7.9
  6. 102.3 Clear FM — 7.8
  7. 99.9 BOB FM — 7.1
  8. Power 97 — 5.9
  9. CBC Radio 2 — 3.1
  10. 1290 CFRW — 3.0
  11. CURVE 94.3 — 2.8
  12. Groove FM — 2.1
  13. Hank FM — 1.9

While CURVE 94.3 may seem low on the scale, program director Andrew Long says the station did quite well. “(We) held on to the #2 spot in the key female 18-34 demo, up 33.8% over last spring,” Long said in an e-mail. “In fact, CURVE is the only station in the top 6 who went up spring over spring.” The pop alternative station also remains in the #3 spot with adults 18-34 — up 9.5% over last spring.

“The Show with Andrea & Jay hit the air the third week of the book which means their first true full book together will be fall 2010. That being said the morning show also increased 27.9% Females 18-34 over last spring to take #2 as well,” Long added.

The fall book measuring data from September 6 to October 31, 2010 will be released on December 2.
