Academy Road will be bustling with activity on Saturday as the 11th annual Academy Road Live! festival takes over.
Academy businesses all come together to provide a day of fun for the entire family. There will be street performers, face painting, a petting zoo, mascots, live music, carnival games, great food and balloon tiers.
Horse-drawn wagons will also take visitors from one end of the Academy business district to the other.
If the photo above is any indication of what you can expect, let’s hope that cotton candy cart is there again this year.
The street festival runs from noon to 5 p.m. between Oak and Centennial.
