A two-vehicle collision on Highway 304 has claimed the life of a 37-year-old Alexander man.
RCMP say the accident happened at about 11 p.m. on Sunday in the RM of Alexander when a 1997 Dodge Neon and a 2006 Ford Taurus collided head-on near the Stead Road turnoff on PTH 304.
The driver of the Ford Taurus was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the Neon — a 26-year-old man from Winnipeg — was transported to hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police say alcohol is considered a factor in the collision.
The name of the deceased hasn’t been released.
