The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added wide receiver David Ball to their roster.
The team announced the signing of the Vermont native on Monday — the second day of training camp at Canad Inns Stadium.
Ball was a standout receiver during his college career with the New Hampshire Wildcats, finishing with 304 receptions for 4,655 yards and 58 touchdowns.
He also spent time on the New York Jets’ and Chicago Bears’ practice rosters before joining the Montreal Alouettes and most recently the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Ball had two catches for 38 yards in one preseason game for the TiCats last year, but his season was cut short due to injury.
