Teams and individuals ran and walked this past Saturday in the Spring Sprint 2010 at Assiniboine Park. The annual event supports the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada — a non-profit organization dedicated to reaching every Canadian affected by a brain tumour through support, education, information and research.
There are an estimated 55,000 Canadians currently living with a brain tumour with an additional 10,000 newly diagnosed cases each year. Imris is a recognized world leader in medical imaging and was a proud sponsor of the event.
