A cyclist has been killed in The Pas after being hit by a cement truck shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
RCMP say the male cyclist was travelling through the intersection of Fischer Avenue and 3rd Street when he was hit. Witnesses told police the cement truck had a green light at the time of the crash.
The cyclist was wearing headphones, which police say was a factor in the accident. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
It was also determined that the truck had a full load and was unable to stop in time to avoid a collision.
No charges have been laid against the truck driver.
