Organizers of the 5th annual Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards (APCMAs) are calling for artist submissions.
The annual event on November 5 is expected to draw aboriginal artists from across Canada and North America, and Indigenous artists from around the world to Winnipeg’s MTS Centre.
The APCMAs are part of the Manito Ahbee Festival, and recognize and celebrate the best in Aboriginal music. A total of 69,837 total votes were cast last year in all musical categories combined.
Submissions will be accepted before June 30, 2010. More information and submission forms are available at AboriginalPeoplesChoice.com.
