No Licence Required to Fish This Weekend

June 11, 2010 6:20 AM | News

For this weekend only, anglers can take advantage of Manitoba’s numerous fishing spots without a licence.

The annual Family Fishing Weekend runs today and Saturday in all provincial waters, except those in federal parks where a licence will still be required.

All adult anglers who would normally require a licence will be allowed to keep a conservation licence limit of four walleye/sauger, four northern pike, two smallmouth bass, two stocked trout, one channel catfish and one lake trout. Limits for other species remain the same.

More information is available at ManitobaFisheries.com.
