You know summer is almost here when the annual Niverville Olde Tyme Country Fair arrives.
The two-day fair just south of Winnipeg kicks off tonight at 6 p.m. with the midway, kids tent, petting zoo, country street market and classic car show. Several musical acts are slated to hit the main stage later in the evening, before the fireworks go off at 11 p.m.
On Saturday, a pancake breakfast will get things going at 8 a.m., followed by a mid-morning BBQ. Canadian country music group The Road Hammers (above) will headline the night after a delicious chicken dinner and motocross demonstrations.
