Hundreds hit the pavement Saturday for the annual Challenge for Life walk, which began and ended at Assiniboine Park after a 20k route.
The goal of each individual was to raise a minimum of $1,000 for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
The top fundraiser for the event was Noah Palansky, who pulled in $44,534.37. Noah is a 13-year-old Winnipeg student who previously raised $60,000 for CancerCare. He helped engage youth to do their part, and ended up raising $1 million for cancer care and research.
