Hank FM Loses Program Director Abbey White

June 16, 2010 6:58 AM | News

100.7 Hank FM needs to hire a new program director — that is, if it’s in their budget.

The rapidly declining NewCap Radio-owned country station recently saw their PD Abbey White (right) leave for another NewCap property.

White will head up KG Country 95.5 FM in Red Deer, Alberta in the same position.

The move comes just weeks after the latest ratings card came out, which saw Hank at the bottom of the list once again.

Local radio insiders said White — who worked at Hank for two years — was a pleasure to work with and was one of the most upstanding people in the biz. Seems like they really like him.

Good luck, Abbey!
