Simon & Garfunkel have postponed their Canadian and U.S. tour, which included a date set for July 8 at MTS Centre.

The tour was originally scheduled for April, but then rescheduled later for July.

In a statement from promoter Live Nation, the reason for the postponement is due to Art Garfunkel’s continuing recovery from a vocal paresis.

“According to his doctors, Art is expected to make a full recovery, however they cannot predict an exact timeline,” the statement read.

The tour is expected to be rescheduled at a later date.

Tickets can be refunded at their place of purchase.
