National Aboriginal Day Marked with Musical Showcase

National Aboriginal Day Marked with Musical Showcase

The day after the Truth and Reconciliation event wrapped up, another outdoor gathering took place Sunday at The Forks in the form of Aboriginal Day Live.

Headlined by Winnipeg’s Chantal Kreviazuk, the fourth annual event showcased Aboriginal talent from all across Canada, providing an evening of music, entertainment, comedy and traditional dance.

Similar celebrations to mark National Aboriginal Day will take place across the country today.
