The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have lightened their roster after the second pre-season game of the year this past Sunday.
The football club let go of imports Travis Shelton, Rian Wallace, SaMario Houston, Jason Tate, Jarrell Chandler, and non-imports John Hashem and Giancarlo Rapanaro on Tuesday.
The Big Blue fell to the mercy of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last week with a 38-20 loss, but will hope to redeem themselves on July 2, when the Bombers host Hamilton at Canad Inns Stadium for the season opener.
