June 22, 2010 7:14 AM | Entertainment

With the first official day of summer on Monday, the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ is preparing for months of outdoor noon-hour entertainment.

The 18th annual Out to Lunch summer concert series begins Wednesday at Air Canada Park with The Crooked Brothers.

The free outdoor entertainment will be offered from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. every Wednesday until August 25 at various downtown locations.

Shows are held at Air Canada Park, as well as at the Workers Compensation Board, and the Manitoba Hydro plaza at Graham Avenue and Edmonton Street.

The shows will go on rain or shine, but if precipitation should arise, rain sites will be Portage Place Shopping Centre or MTS Centre’s main floor overlooking Graham Avenue.
