A high school journalist in the U.S. is being commended for his hardball questions aimed at Arizona State Senator John Huppenthal in a recent interview.
Keith Wagner sat down with Senator Huppenthal to ask about the massive budget cuts to Career and Technical Education funding, in which Huppenthal voted to cut. The Senator is currently running for State Superintendent of Public Instruction. When handed a sheet outlining the recorded votes, Huppenthal laughs nervously, and then says, “I’ll be right back.” He never returned.
