Winnipeg may have been eliminated from the latest version of Monopoly Canada, but you can still enjoy the game and help out charity at an upcoming tournament at Portage Place Shopping Centre.

The mall will host Passing Go, a Monopoly tournament in support of Siloam Mission on Saturday, July 17 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Winnipeggers will have a chance to buy, sell and roll their way to great prizes from Hasbro and Portage Place for a great cause. The tournament includes two 90-minute preliminary rounds, as well as a final round of play with the top six competitors to determine the winner of a Portage Place shopping spree.

Registration is being handled at the mall’s customer service desk on the second level. A minimum donation of $20 is required, and 100% of donations will go to support Siloam Mission.
