The Winnipeg Goldeyes made some roster moves Monday — the same day the team begins a 10-game series on the road.

Right-handed pitcher Mark Holliman saw his contract get purchased by the Boston Red Sox and has been assigned to the Salem Red Sox of the Advanced Single-A Carolina League. In eight starts this season with the Goldeyes, Holliman was 4-1 with a 2.02 ERA.

Infielder Jeremy Hamilton was traded to the Windy City ThunderBolts of the Frontier League for future considerations. Hamilton batted .244 in 30 games with Winnipeg this season.
