The Winnipeg Art Gallery holds an annual children’s art show, but the adults taking art classes at the gallery also need a chance to show off their creations.
WAG will hold a public reception on Thursday, July 8 for the opening of the Adult Students’ Art Show in the Studio Programs building. The opening runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., but the exhibition will be on display Tuesday through Friday from noon until 4 p.m. until July 29.
“Our adult students’ exhibition includes fine examples of drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and so much more,” said Michael Boss, Head of Studio Programs. “The skill and enthusiasm demonstrated by these artists is a tribute to their dedication and to the high quality of instruction that takes place in our studios. We are very proud of our students and are pleased to present this work to the public.”
The Studio Programs of the Winnipeg Art Gallery is one of the largest of its kind in Canada.
