After taking a few days off, the City of Winnipeg will start up its fogging trucks again beginning tonight.
Watch:
Insect Management Areas 1, 2, 11, 12, 28, 47, 50 and 51 will be targetted, along with East and West. St. Paul. Crews will roll out at 9:30 p.m. and fog until 6:30 a.m., weather permitting.
The Insect Control Branch put fogging on hold previously due to low trap counts, but readings are now reporting 100 as the average trap count throughout the city.

Buffer zones will still be respected. City entomologist Taz Stuart says as of today, 1,550 people have registered to keep their property malathion-free.
UPDATE — July 1: Mosquito fogging has been suspended again tonight due to low overall adult mosquito activity.
