Canada Day Citizenship Ceremony at Clear Lake

Seventy-three newcomers will take the oath to officially become Canadian citizens later today.

A citizenship ceremony is planned to take place in Clear Lake at Riding Mountain National Park at 12:30 p.m.

Judge Harold Gilleshammer will preside over the beach ceremony.

On Monday, 78 new Canadians were sworn in at the Philippine-Canadian Centre of Manitoba in Winnipeg.
