Work on Rail Line to Slow Traffic on Perimeter

July 6, 2010 6:42 AM | News

Reduced speeds will be in effect beginning Wednesday, as repairs are made to the CP Rail crossing on the Perimeter Highway just west of Main Street.

Traffic in the area will also be narrowed down to one lane in each direction during daylight hours.

Work on the rail crossing will start at 6 a.m., weather permitting and should be fully completed in two days (July 7 and 8).

Traffic is still allowed through this construction area during the repair project, however, all drivers will encounter speed reductions and delays.
